Buriti fruit
Buriti (boo-ree-chee) oil is obtained by cold-pressing the fruits of the morichi palm, native to Brazil. This tree is treated as sacred and is also known as the Tree of life because it contains all of the nutrients needed to both support and sustain life.
Buriti oil is high in beta carotene - giving it a deep orange-red colour. It's also high is essential fatty acids, vitamin E and vitamin C.
Its beneficial properties include reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, helping to lighten dark pigments and it moisturises the skin.
Immortelle
This essential oil is obtained from the Helichrysum plant by steam-distillation. Also known as Everlasting or the flower of youth, its properties provide the Holy Grail of skin care.
